    The intent of the design was to utilize the opportunity provided by the corner lot location, bring light into the space and open up the views, while preserving a degree of privacy. The design offers both progression through the site, with entry points on each side of the lot, and the sense of a garden room that invites contemplation before entering the house. The contemporary design esthetic emphasizes strong lines, sculptural planting, and subtle variations in color and texture.
